Fast Cherry Cheesecake

2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
2/3 c. confectioners' sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
2 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix soft cream cheese, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla until smooth. Arrange crescent rolls and press together to cover bottom of 9 inch glass pie pan, reserving 2 rolls for finish. Spread cheese mix over crust. Top with cherry pie filling. Cut reserved rolls into strips. Twist strips. Place like wagon spokes attaching to edge. Brush with egg white. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
