NCAA Football National Champions

With LSU smacking Ohio State in last night's BCS Bowl, I thought I'd go look at the history of NCAA Football National Champions. It's an ugly history with all of the polling done and so little action on the field to back up the speculation. (I believe that in each of the last two years Ohio State has entered the game ranked #1 and been clearly manhandled by the #2 team from the SEC).
